The interlock is a thick grade fabric, since the grade is more than 220 square meter grams.

Medium and specially thick grades can withstand a surface treatment on the fabric resulting in a hair like finish. This finish increases the insulation layer between the skin and the exterior, providing more thermal comfort in low exterior temperatures. This method is called pressed or plush.
