Leggings are tights with feet that is part of the layette. Since it has feet incorporated you don´t have to put booties on babies to keep their feet warm, since this is very important. Babies cannot hold their own body temperatures.
The waist is high and elastic, so it fits snug without being tight, avoiding any type of irritation caused by a tight rubber belt.
This type of legging is usually combined with a t-shirt or a crossed one piece.
